Nov 1864 listed as absent at 18th army corps Hospital, probably for the bayonet wound to his right leg. He was wounded on Oct 1 1864 in a charge at Petersburg, Va. Sent to hospital at Point-of-Rocks, Va, then to a military hospital near Richmond, Va.
Mustered out at Alexandria, Va. June 2 1865.
Died April 08, 1914 in Ligonier Twp, Westmoreland Co, Pa.
Buriel: Laurel Hill Cemetery, Ligonier Twp, Westmoreland County Pa.
